A WORLD BUILT ONE LINE AT A TIME
Art, Nature, Beauty and Hope.
I am a trained architect and artist, drawn to the beauty of detail, texture, pattern and storytelling.
My creative journey began with illustrating a children’s alphabet book and has since grown into a wider exploration of painting, intricate linework and the natural world.
There is something deeply immersive about working with pen and paint. I can lose myself in the rhythm of the lines, layering pattern and detail until an image begins to take on a life of its own. The process is instinctive and cathartic — a place to slow down, observe and create.
At the heart of my work is hope.
We live in a time of profound uncertainty — from war and conflict to climate change and the rapidly changing world of artificial intelligence. Against this backdrop, my work looks towards the extraordinary beauty that still surrounds us: our animals, landscapes, natural systems and the intricate life of our planet.
Through drawn line, colour and pattern, I want to create a visual counterpoint to the negativity that can so often dominate our attention. My hope is that the work encourages us to pause, reconnect with the natural world and remember what is worth protecting.
Education, animals and conservation are recurring themes within my work, reflecting a belief that art can inspire curiosity, awareness and, above all, hope for our planet and everything beautiful within it.
My architectural training continues to influence the way I see — through structure, composition, proportion and detail — while art gives me the freedom to explore beyond those boundaries.
